Award films 2023 – Elspeth Owen

Beyond Repair by Elspeth Owen addresses the fragility of clay and our desire to mend it when it breaks. She presents a line of small hand-formed bowls fired at a low temperature. This installation is in the grounds of the church and so exposed to the elements and will disintegrate over the course of the Biennial.

Elspeth exhibited as part of Award at All Saints Church for the 2023 British Ceramics Biennial.
