About the Staffordshire University Exhibition
This year Staffordshire University students have courageously responded to live industry briefs set by local manufactures, world renowned historic collections and following their own creative and design led inquiries.
Over the last 18 months with less access to the usual exceptional opportunities of learning first-hand on the factory floor and in the studio the students have found new inspirations and ways of creating and experimenting. Like many students across the world, they transitioned to studying and creating from home to studio facilities and back again.
This selection of work celebrates the resilience of students who will have graduated in 2020 and 2021 and presents a contemporary relationship with material and its relevance within our lives.
