Generation project – Tuesday Workshops
Join the Generation project and access free weekly sessions to explore local ceramics heritage.
What is this about?
These workshops are all about exploring the heritage of the Spode Pottery site and the wider ceramic heritage of Stoke-on-Trent. The Generation project will give you exclusive access to heritage sites across Stoke-on-Trent and beyond. You’ll explore their rich collections/histories and get hands-on finding out about traditional skills and ways of making. Develop ideas for events, workshops, and exhibitions to pass along what you have learned to others.
When?
Tuesdays in November and December from 6:30-8pm.
Where?
BCB Studio, Spode Works, Elenora Street, ST4 1QD (meeting point, Spode Works Security office, on the right as you enter the red gates).
Who is this for?
Young people from Staffordshire aged 16-25 years old. The workshops are suitable for beginners and those with experience in ceramics.
How much?
The workshops are free and all material and equipment are provided, as well as refreshments.
