Externalising the ArchiveThe Secrets Of Spode Tour

Externalising the Archive assembles a diverse range of artistic interventions and digital mediations made in response to the former Spode factory's archives and production histories.

This installation allows guests to scrutinise four of the former Spode Factory's plaster mould storage rooms. Through the use of careful lighting and 360 degree photography, these restricted areas have been painstakingly recreated as an interactive walk-through.

This installation was developed by local visual media specialists 3Digital, in partnership with the School of Computing and Digital Technologies and Technical Services departments at Staffordshire University.
