Alongside her writing, Caroline is passionate about access and inclusion, drawing on her lived experience of visual impairment and mental ill health. She also does freelance access consultancy, particularly with arts organisations.
Whether it’s rambling through local countryside or the fells of the Lake District, Caroline loves hiking. She lives in North Staffordshire with her husband and a former stray cat, Merlin, who adopted them. She cares deeply about Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire and loves exploring locally. In her travels, she looks for live music gigs and theatre performances.
