Associate Artist
Zeba Imam worked on the Stoke Makes Plates project for the 2021 British Ceramics Biennial. She has since supported several of BCB’s community engagement projects including the Recast programme. As an Associate Artist, she is part of the team facilitating the open studio programme based at the BCB studio.
Zeba received her PhD in Communication from Texas A&M University, USA in 2009 and taught at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, India. She transitioned to pursue her passion for ceramics. In 2019, she completed a two-year programme in pottery from Clay College in Stoke-on-Trent. Alongside her social engagement work with BCB, she has been building her own ceramic practice and works from her studio based in ACAVA, Spode Works.
