In this video, artist Sarah Fraser takes us through a relaxed drawing activity using handmade inks and drawing tools.
Looking at daily routines and common household objects, the exercise demonstrates how we can explore creativity through our homes and outdoors. Since early April, Sarah has been facilitating online workshops to members of Stoke Recovery Service and Starfish Social Hubs as part of our Health & Community programme.
These weekly artist-facilitated online sessions aim to provide motivation for creative activity during this difficult time. Rather than creating finished ‘artworks’ the sessions are designed to build creative confidence and skills that can be used in different contexts.
Clay At Home is an online creative learning programme to get people experimenting and engaging with clay in their homes. The programme includes video demonstrations of hands-on activities, podcast interviews with artists and social networking events.
Don’t forget to tag BCB on social media and use the hashtag #ClayAtHome to share your masterpieces.
